About
The Journey and Arrival
-
It’s very common to travel alone, and many people choose to do just that to experience the freedom of traveling on their own terms.
Once you arrive at your destination, you’ll quickly meet other young people, both from Praktikrejsen the surfing community around the hostel. You’re also very welcome to travel in pairs or larger groups. -
Yes, you are responsible for arranging your own transportation. Praktikrejsen as an intermediary between you and our local partners, and handles the preparation and overall framework. For this reason, we do not offer a complete package that includes airfare—however, we are happy to advise you on good flight routes or assist you if you prefer to travel by train and ferry as an alternative.

The fastest way to travel to Agadir is by plane. We recommend choosing a direct flight to Agadir International Airport, as this makes the trip easier and reduces the environmental impact compared to flights with layovers. The flight time from Scandinavia is approximately 4 hours, and there are usually direct flights on Saturdays.
From Copenhagen , both SAS and Norwegian typically offer direct flights between Copenhagen and Agadir.
There are no direct flights to Agadir from Jutland . If you’d like to fly directly, you can take the train to Copenhagen. DSB’s high-speed trains and InterCity services run from cities such as Aarhus, Aalborg, Esbjerg, and Herning. You can also take an express bus or carpool to Copenhagen at a low price.
From Oslo, you can fly directly to Agadir with Norwegian.
From Stockholm, you can fly directly to Agadir with both SAS and Norwegian.
The most climate-friendly way to travel to Agadir is by train and ferry through Europe. The trip takes longer than flying, but can also be an experience in itself, as you pass through several European cities along the way. The total travel time is typically around 2 days, and the price is often around 1,500–2,000 DKK, depending on tickets and timing.
A typical route might be, for example, Copenhagen – Hamburg – Paris – Barcelona – Algeciras – Tangier – Marrakech – Agadir, where you combine train journeys through Europe with the ferry crossing between Spain and Morocco.
To support participants who choose to travel by train and ferry instead of by plane, we are offering a reimbursement of 600 DKK. If you use alternative transportation one way and fly the other, you can still receive 300 DKK. The reimbursement applies regardless of whether you are departing from Denmark, Norway, or Sweden.
To receive your refund, simply send proof of your trip—such as tickets or receipts—to praktikrejsen. We will then refund up to 600 DKK to the same account you used for payment.

Direct flights from Copenhagen to Agadir take about 4.5 hours. If you choose to travel by train and ferry via Spain, the journey takes about a day and a half—but the carbon footprint is significantly lower, and it gives you the chance to enjoy the journey along the way. For those who choose alternative transportation, we offer carbon offsetting as part of the package.
