Traveling with Praktikrejsen just an ordinary vacation. It’s a meaningful experience where you become part of local daily life and make a valuable contribution. To ensure a safe and enjoyable stay for both you and our partners, it’s important that you are familiar with and respect the following guidelines.

Praktikrejsen an intermediary—not a tour operator or employer. This means that we facilitate contact between you and our local partners in Morocco, including internship placements and accommodations. Participation in the program requires that you are able to function independently in your daily life and take responsibility for your own actions, decisions, and safety.

Practical responsibilities and preparation

By signing up for an internship through Praktikrejsen , you Praktikrejsen to take responsibility for your own practical, academic, and safety preparations. You are expected to:

  • Familiarizing yourself with the culture, norms, and partners

  • To be responsible for your own health and safety during your stay

  • It is recommended that you register with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ Danish Citizen Registry and follow their travel advisories

  • To take risks, including political and/or climatic conditions, into account well in advance of departure.

In the event of unforeseen circumstances (such as illness, civil unrest, or natural disasters), Praktikrejsen will do its best to provide support and guidance in collaboration with local partners. However, the overall responsibility for handling the situation rests with you, the relevant authorities, and your insurance company.

Insurance

All participants are required to have valid travel and liability insurance that covers:

  • Disease and Treatment

  • Return transport

  • Injury

  • Liability insurance covers you if you accidentally cause injury to others or damage to their property

We also recommend that you have accident insurance.

Travel and liability insurance cannot be waived, and it is your responsibility to ensure that the coverage is adequate and valid throughout your stay. Praktikrejsen solely as an intermediary for the stay. Praktikrejsen not liable for personal injury, illness, accidents, death, loss, or damage to property that may occur during the trip or in connection with the stay.

We must receive the policy number for your travel and liability insurance no later than 4 weeks before departure:

Registration and payment

  • To reserve your spot, a deposit of 1,500 DKK must be paid upon registration.

  • Your spot is not fully reserved until the deposit has been received and you have received confirmation from Praktikrejsen

  • The remaining balance will be billed via email and invoice approximately 8 weeks before departure

If you register late (e.g., shortly before departure), you can still participate if there is space available—in which case the full amount must be paid in a single payment immediately after confirmation.

Cancellation Policy

We aim to create a fair, transparent, and straightforward process for all participants.
Upon registration, a permanent internship position is reserved with our partners in Morocco; therefore, the following cancellation policy applies:

  • Cancellations before departure
    The deposit (1,500 DKK) is non-refundable, regardless of when the cancellation is made. This is because your spot is reserved immediately, and administrative work and coordination with our partners begin right away.

    The remaining balance will be refunded according to the following rules:

    • Cancellations made more than 8 weeks before departure: The remaining balance will be refunded in full.

    • Cancellations made between 4 and 8 weeks before departure: 50% of the remaining balance will be refunded.

    • Cancellations made less than 4 weeks before departure: The remaining balance will not be refunded.

  • Cancellation of the stay
    In the event of illness or other personal reasons—including returning home of your own accord—no refund will be issued.

  • No-show withoutprior notice
    Failure to show up without prior notice is considered a cancellation and does not entitle you to a refund.

  • Cancellation and/or interruption of a stay by Praktikrejsen
    If Praktikrejsen contrary to expectations Praktikrejsen is forced to cancel a stay before it begins, a full refund will be provided, regardless of the timing. If a stay must be interrupted during the trip for a reason not attributable to Praktikrejsen, a refund can only be provided to the extent that Praktikrejsen compensation from our partners. Praktikrejsen strive to find a solution in collaboration with our partners.

The Role and Responsibilities of the Internship Coordinator

Praktikrejsen an intermediary and not Praktikrejsen a tour operator in the traditional sense. This means that we are not covered by the Travel Guarantee Fund, and participants are therefore responsible for obtaining their own insurance. However, Praktikrejsen always committed to maintaining partnerships with reliable providers and will do its best to find solutions if any problems arise.

Additional comments

  • Cancellations must be submitted in writing topraktikrejsen

  • Any refunds will be issued to the same account from which the payment was received

  • No compensation will be provided for any parts of the stay that the participant did not use—such as meals and activities

Cancellation and uncertainty

If Praktikrejsen is Praktikrejsen to confirm your stay, you will, of course, receive a full refund of your deposit.

Praktikrejsen liable for changes, cancellations, or interruptions to the trip resulting from circumstances beyond our control (force majeure), including but not limited to natural disasters, extreme weather conditions, political unrest, strikes, epidemics, official recommendations, or changes to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ travel advisories.

In such cases, refunds or compensation are not automatically provided. Any refund may only be issued to the extent that Praktikrejsen receives reimbursement from our partners.

As a participant, you are personally responsible for purchasing appropriate travel and cancellation insurance when booking your flight and accommodation.

If you choose to cut your stay short, no refund will be provided for any unused portions of the program.

Local conditions, holidays, and changes to the internship program

An internship arranged through Praktikrejsen local conditions, structures, and procedures in Morocco. This means that internship sites, centers, and institutions may be closed or have altered opening hours due to local holidays, public holidays, school breaks, or other circumstances that cannot always be foreseen or announced well in advance.

In such cases, the internship content may be reduced, modified, or temporarily suspended. Praktikrejsen therefore Praktikrejsen guarantee a specific number of internship or work days during the stay, but facilitates access to an internship placement over a given period.

In the event that the internship site is fully or partially closed, Praktikrejsen in collaboration with local partners—will make every effort to inform participants as soon as possible and, where feasible, find alternative solutions such as other activities, observation, academic presentations, preparation, independent work, or a stay at another center. However, we cannot guarantee that a full alternative program will always be available.

Closures or changes resulting from local holidays, public holidays, or internal circumstances at our partners’ facilities are not considered a breach of contract and, as a general rule, do not entitle the participant to financial compensation or a refund.

By registering, the participant accepts that the stay is not a fixed school or educational program, but a stay in a local context where flexibility and adaptation are a natural part of the experience.

Responsibilities During Your Stay

As a participant, you are required to:

  • Follow Praktikrejsen’s guidelines and the instructions of our partners

  • Show up, get involved, and work respectfully and professionally

  • Taking responsibility for one's own well-being, safety, and daily participation

We expect you to be flexible and adaptable, even if the program or internship placement changes due to local circumstances. This rarely happens—but when it does, we work actively to find a solution in collaboration with our partners.

Complaints and Contact

If any problems arise during your stay, please contact us as soon as possible so we can assist you and find a solution. We expect you to communicate with our partners at your accommodation and at your internship site regarding any issues that may arise during your stay.

Any complaints must be submitted in writing no later than 4 weeks after the end of your stay. Complaints received after this deadline will generally not be considered.
